GIVING YOUNG STARS THE CHANCE TO SHINE

Does the average high school student know that 2,000 positions become available in this province each year in the health care sector? Or that salaries in the early childhood education sector can exceed $60,000 annually?

Probably not, and that’s what FutureReadyNB is working to change. High school students need to know about the variety of meaningful career opportunities that exist in this province. New Brunswick high schools are ready-made community hubs where employers can reach students, provide training and guidance, and integrate them into the workforce of the future.

Sharing up-to-date local and provincial labour market information is key to New Brunswick’s success, and giving high school students exposure to expanding industries through experiential learning can help them make more focused decisions about their future careers. FutureReadyNB is committed to keeping young New Brunswickers in this province, and showing them all the ways that they can succeed here.

HOW CAN FUTURE READY NB HELP YOU?

Applications for the high school program must come from an educator or from an employer operating in the targeted sectors. This means that applications cannot be submitted by students themselves. For more information or to apply please email info@futurereadynb.ca.
